The competition was launched in the UK in June 2007 and has now closed.
240 entries came in from all over the country with some fantastic ideas to tackle climate change.
The best ideas were selected by an expert judging panel:

Ideas were also voted by you, with a prize awarded to the idea most popular with peers.

Stuart won the top prize for his school to have a green makeover.
The school will be visited by a team of specialists who will help design and fit measures, such as renewable energy, to help the school become a leader in carbon friendly learning. Prize kindly sponsored by:

Most popular project as voted by peers With a massive 1299 votes Jack Wieland, aged 13 from Westbourne House School, Chichester, in the South East Winning Idea: 'Everyone at school should remind each other to switch their computers off standby at the end of the day to save energy.'He won a trip for his class to visit the Eden Project in Cornwall. Best in 7-9 age group category Habbib Bhatti, from Small Heath School, Birmingham Idea: 'Encourage pupils to bike to school to save carbon emissions and improve health.' Prize: Trip to Sherwood Forest with group of friends for a specially designed day at Sherwood Forest with Robin Hood kindly organised by the Sherwood Forest Trust.Best in 10-12 age group category Melanie Ozcan, from Cleveland in the North East Idea: To change all the school lights to energy saving bulbs and have a light monitor for each class to turn off the lights when the room is empty.
